Effective Date: August 31, 2021

This Cookie Policy applies only to the websites controlled by Impact(Ed) International (“Impact(Ed),” “we,” “us” and “our”). When you visit our websites where this Cookie Policy is posted (the “Sites”), we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Sites, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Sites, and information about how you interact with the Sites. We hope that this Cookie Policy helps you understand, and feel more confident about, our use of cookies and your options. If you have any further questions, please see our Privacy Policy here.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are parcels of text sent by a server to a web browser and then sent back unchanged by the browser each time it accesses that server. Cookies make it easier for a user to move from web page to web page and to complete transactions over the Internet. Depending on the functions they need to achieve, cookies may be temporary: effective only for the duration of your browsing session which are deleted when your session ends (session cookies) or they may be more permanent and retained unless you choose to delete them (persistent cookies). Cookies may be placed by the operator of the website that you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by other operators setting cookies through that website or app (third-party cookies). We use, and allow certain third parties to use, cookies and other similar technologies to provide our services and to help collect data.

What cookies do we use?

Different cookies are used to perform different functions, which we explain below.

  • Essential. Some cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around our Sites and use their features, such as accessing secure areas of the Sites. Without these cookies, we cannot enable appropriate content based on the type of device you are using. Users cannot withdraw consent to these types of cookies.
  • Browsing and Functionality. These cookies allow us to remember choices you make on the Sites, such as customizing a certain webpage, remembering services you request, or remembering previous interactions, like whether you watched a video or commented on a blog. All of these features help us to improve your visit to the Sites. Users can withdraw consent to these types of cookies.
  • Performance and Analytics. Performance cookies, which are sometimes called analytics cookies, collect information about your use of the Sites and enable us to improve the way it works. For example, performance cookies show us which are the most frequently visited pages on the website, allow us to see the overall patterns of usage on the Sites, help us record any difficulties you have with the Sites and show us whether our advertising is effective or not. We use our own cookies and/or third party cookies to see how you use the Sites in order to enhance their performance and develop them according to your preferences. Users can withdraw consent to these types of cookies.
  • Targeting or Advertising Cookies. We and our service providers may use targeting or advertising cookies to deliver ads that we believe are more relevant to you and your interests. For example, we may use targeting or advertising cookies to limit the number of times you see the same ad on our Sites and to help measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. These cookies remember what you have looked at on the Sites and we may share this information with other organizations, such as advertisers. Users can withdraw consent to these types of cookies.
    • Google Analytics. To help facilitate the delivery of relevant content, we use Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to report on user interactions on our and others’ websites. We use the data collected for improving browsing experience and performance of the Sites, and for analytics purposes. You can opt out of the Google Analytics features we use by indicating your preference using the interest-based opt-out link here. Google also provides a complete privacy policy, and instructions on opting out of Google Analytics here. Note that Google’s opt-out mechanism is specific to Google activities and does not affect the activities of other ad networks or analytics providers that we may use.

How do I control cookies?
